Women Climbing High
with Oneida Experiential & Adventure Department

Interested in challenging yourself? Looking to take the step in building the confidence it takes to create new possibilities in your life? Join women of all ages for an evening of support and confidence building. We will start with a few activities to build our trust and confidence, have a light snack and then work together in personal goal setting on the ropes and challenge course. Limit of 15 participants.

Oneida Adventure's woman guide will host this evening sea kayak gathering. We will provide the boat, paddle and PFD and instruction. Tandem kayaks also available.

MOUNTAIN BIKING:
Learn maintenance, repair and care for a safe journey on a mountain bike! Take a trip up and down winding trails and maybe catch some air! Bikes, helmets and other safety gear provided.

NAVIGATION:
This is a classroom/field experience to learn the basics of using a compass, bearings and map work. We will provide the compass, but you are welcome to bring your own Skills learned can be transferred to hiking or kayaking. Cost $15

SURVIVAL SKILLS:
This is a hands-on approach to learning some basics of survival skills in the outdoors. Topics may include fire staring techniques with different materials, building a shelter, proper clothing and equipment, or survival basics. Cost $15
